The purpose of this manual is
to direct the suppliers shipping product into the heritage Meritor distribution
facilities on how to package the product. This manual addresses issues such as
label formats, pallet sizes, package weights and package heights. This manual
applies only to CVA and only to the three heritage Meritor facilities in CVA (Florence, Plainfield and Brampton).
Meritor, Inc. is a member of
U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism
(C-TPAT) program. As such, we require all suppliers to meet or exceed the supply
chain security guidelines of the program. Of particular concern for
international suppliers is the adherence to Meritor’s Container Seal Policy and
Container/Trailer Inspection Policy, which are provided below. Each policy has
an acknowledgement form that is to be completed and forwarded to Meritor as
indicated.
